A boy caught thieving
It was the recess. Jalil and his friend were at the school library. They were reading their

While reading, Jalil looked outside the windows. He saw a boy. The boy entered his class.
There were no one in his class. Jalil was suspicious.

A visit to Sabah
Eda is just twelve years old but she had climbed up Mount Tahan, Mount Jerai, and Mount Tersat.
She wishes to climb Mount Kinabalu next.
One day, his father broke the new. He planned to go to Sabah for a trip. The next Sunday, Eda and her
family took a flight to Kota Kinabalu.
In Sabah, they went to several interesting and exciting places such as Kundasang, Kota Kinabalu, and
Tawau.
It was a dream came true for Eda. Her father took her to climb the highest peak before they headed
home. Eda had an unforgettable experience.
It was a warm and cloudy afternoon. Raja and his family were in the living room. They were
discussing about their plans for school holidays.
Raja's father popped up the idea of having a visit to his grandparents village but his mother was
against it.
His sister, Raveena suggested them to visit Cameron Highlands as they had never been there before.
Raja' family agreed. Two weeks later, Raja and his family went for a trip there. They had a whale of a

Speech Day
It was a bright sunny morning. Pupils, parents, and teachers of SK Kuala Telemong were in the school
hall. They were attending the Speech Day.
The event started with singing the National Anthem, State Song, and School Song. A little later, Ustaz
Sabri led the prayer. The Parent-Teacher Association advisor and the headmistress soon delivered
their speeches.
A moment later, there was a prize giving ceremony. The pupils received their prizes. Smiles beamed
on their faces.
The ceremony ended at 12.00 p.m.
Go fishing
It was a perfect Sunday morning. Ali and his best friend, Adnan were standing by a swift- flowing
river. They wanted to fish.
Soon, they put a bait on their fishing lines. They used big worms to entice the big fish. After casting
their fishing line, they sat and waited.
A few minutes after, Adnan felt something pulled the bait under the water. He gently reeled it. Ten
minutes later, he caught the big fish using a net.
After catching the fish, they decided to go home. They were very excited.
It was Sunday and it was Marina's mother birthday. Marina was in the kitchen. She was flipping a
recipe book. She wanted to bake a homemade cake for her mother.
Marina then took out the ingredients from the cabinet. She carefully read the cooking instruction.
Firstly, she mixed the butter, sugar using a mixer. Then, she poured in baking powder, flour. Then, she
added a spoon of vanilla extract.
A little later, she put the batter into the oven. When the cake was perfectly cooked, she decorated it.
Later that night, her mother tasted it. She praised Marina for her cooking skills.
It was Sunday. Mira was at home. She was helping her mother in the kitchen.
Mira and her mother prepared a healthy lunch together. Mira fried the vegetables while her beloved

Late to school

Kamal jumped out his bed, had a little shower, got dressed and hurriedly ran to school. He reached
there 30 minutes after.
Kamal wanted to enter the school compound but the gate was closed. Kamal climbed up the fence.
The discipline teacher saw him. He scolded him.
Kamal was punished. He regretted. He promised not to come late again.
Sports Day
It was a fine morning. Hafizi and his schoolmates were at the school field. They were taking part in
the Sports Day.
On that day, many parents came to support their children. They sat under the big tents. The tents
were decorated beautifully with colourful balloons.
Hafizi participated in the blue ribbon. Before he raced against his friends, he did a little warm-ups. He
ran as fast as a cheetah so he won his race.
A moment after, he received his trophy from the headmaster. During the closing ceremony, the
headmaster congratulated him. Hafizi felt so proud.

A Family Reunion
It was a breeze Saturday morning. Pak Samad's family were at his home. They were having a family
reunion. It was the first family gathering and he was very elated.
On that day, his sons organized some games while her daughters threw out a big party for him. They
had three-legged race, sack race, musical chairs and water balloon toss games.
Later, all the family members enjoyed the food. While eating, they shared their stories. They greeted
each other and enjoyed the occassion.
The reunion party ended late in the evening. Pak Samad's family returned home the next day. They
promised to visit him more often.

Suddenly, he captured a glimpse of a man climbing on the balcony. Without further delay, he told his
father. Then, his father called the police.

School concert
It was Saturday. SK Tanggol organized a school concert. It was held at Dewan Khawarizmi.
A day before, pupils and teachers worked hand-in-hand. They swept the floor, arranged the chairs,
and decorated the stage with colourful balloons and flowers.
Many parents came to the concert next day. During the concert, pupils looked great in traditional
Malay costumes. Amira sang the songs sweetly while her friends danced gracefully behind her. The
audience enjoyed the show. They clapped their hands. Some of them donated some money too.
The concert was successful. At the end of the concert, RM2000.00 was collected. The headmaster
thanked the donors profusely.
A heart of gold
Mr. Kumaran lives next door. He is a taxi driver. He is a kind and helpful man.
One crispy morning, Mr. Kumaran went to Subang Airport to fetch tourists.
At the airport, a male tourist boarded his car. Mr. Kumaran took him to Hotel Malaya.
On the way to the taxi station, he saw a black wallet on the backseat. He took and opened it.
Mr. Kumaran made u-turn and drove back the hotel. There, he returned the wallet to the owner.
The tourist gave him RM300.00 but he refused. The tourist thanked him. He has a heart of gold.
A bully incident ( 1 )
Ali was at the canteen during recess. He wanted to buy some snacks. He queued up, chose the food,
and then had it on the bench nearby.
While he was enjoying his food, Amin approached him. Amin demanded some money from him. Ali
refused to surrender his money.
All of a sudden, Amin punched Ali hard on his face. Razif, Ali's best friend saw the incident. He then
told the headmaster.
Later, Amin were called to the headmaster's room. He was canned. Amin regretted his wrongdoings.
A kidnapping incident
It was a blazing hot afternoon. Mira was walking home from school. Suddenly, she heard a girl
screaming. She was curious. She saw a man wearing a mask. He pulled a little girl into the backseat of
his white car. Maya immediately shouted for help. The villagers came to help but the man escaped.
The villagers called the police. That afternoon, the police had a massive road block. An hour later, the
man was nabbed. The police saved the girl. Mira watched the news later that night. She was
thankful.
It was a bright sunny morning. Azila and the girl guides of SK Kuala Telemong were in Cahaya Old Folk
Home. They were having gotong royong.
Azila and her friends were accompanied by their teachers. At the old folk home, they cleaned up the
compound, tidied up the rooms, and even cooked for the elders.
After having lunch together, Azila and her friends decided to call it a day. The home manager thanked
them profusely.
After shaking hands with all the residents, the girls guide immediately left the premise.

Hafiz has an ambition in life. He wants to be a successful football player. Hafiz is a die-hard
of Terengganu Team. He watches every matches of his favourite team on his cozy couch at
home.
Sometimes, his father takes him to the stadium to watch the play. He is elated when he meets
his favourite players. During the match, Hafiz and his father cheer their favourite team
loudly. Hafiz is twelve years old but he set a terrific goal. He hopes, one day, he can wear the
national jersey. He wishes to play for Malaysia.

A trip to remember
I remember vividly the first trip to Cherating beach. My friends and I had a great time together. When
we arrived the hotel, we started eating as much as we could. Later, we went to the beach and played
a funny soccer game. Then, we watched the sunset together. Around the midnight, we sneaked out
our room and played some games where the loser had to take some shots. A lot of times, I was the
loser. That was my first and unforgettable trip with my friends.
Flying a kite
It was a breeze Sunday afternoon. Jamal and his bosom friends went to the field. They wanted to fly
their kites.
At the field, Jamal launched his kite. He enjoyed watching his kite dancing in the sky.
Out of the blue, the wind became stronger. Jamal then pulled his kite line. His kite tangled with his
friend's kite.
The kite line was broken. The wind blew his kite. A little later, the kite struck on the tall tree.
Jamal could not climb the tree. He was devastated. Hia friends promised to buy him a new kite.

Suddenly, a big fierced- looking boy neared him. He demanded some money from him. Ali and his
friend did not entertain his requests.
The boy was angry. Out of the blue, he punched Ali on his face. Ali was in pain. He cried for help.
The school prefect saw the incident. He immediately reported the matter to the headmaster.
The headmaster then punished the boy. He was regretted his action.
It was crispy morning.Jana and her family were in their village. They were celebrating Hari Raya.
Jana donned a beautiful baju kurung while her brother put on new baju melayu. They looked
gorgeous in their attires.
Later, Jana and her family went to the mosque which is a stoned-throw away their home. After
performing their prayer, they met and shook hands with relatives and friends.
A little later, they went home. They had some lemang, ketupat, and rendang. As the food were
scrumptious, Jana could not resist to eat more.
Jana and her family had a whale of a time celebrating Hari Raya together.
Lost in the Jungle
It was a cold breeze Sunday morning. Fahmi and his friends were in the jungle. They were having a
jungle trekking.
They walked slowly along the narrow path. Fahmi and his friends were mesmerized by the beauty of
the scenery.
It was late in the evening. They decided to return home. However, they lost. Fahmi and his friends
were tired and scared.
The boys did not reach home that day. Their parents were worried. They went to the police station
and lodged the report.
The police immediately conducted a rescue exercise. They found the boys near the river.

it becomes plain and less appealing. How to make it interesting. Here it is:

It was Sunday. Ali and his family got up early, get dressed, had a light breakfast, and then began their
