POETRY SLAM BOOKLET

Now that you have learned how to analyze and create poems, you can now create your own
poetry booklets! Check off the numbers on the checklist as you create your booklet to make sure
you have included every element into your poetry booklet. Title your booklet “Poetry SLAM”
and write the type of poem you will be writing on for each page above the poem’s title (for
organization). Remember poetry is about fun and expression (& creating pictures in the reader’s
head using figurative language). Have fun with it!
