This lifting plan shall be well communicated to all parties involve. Specific pre-task meeting
shall be conducted for this plan.
The usafe of this crane will be moved from one position to next position (position 1 to
position 2 and etc). Layout Area for Crane position and Direction show the sequence
position of crane usage.
All cranes/ hoist shall be operated by competent and certified operator and inspected
every day before starts works.
All cranes/ hoists shall be inspected prior to each use/ during use to make sure it is in safe
operating condition.
A monthly inspection of hooks, running ropes and hoist chains shall be made.
An inspection record including date, inspector signature and hook/ rope/ chain identifier
shall be maintained.
The rated load of the crane/ hoist shall be marked on each side of the crane. If the crane
has more than one hoisting unit, each rating will be marked on the unit or its load block.
Load chart shall be available inside the cabin of the cranes at all times.
The stability foundation of crane will be checked prior to use.
Following pre-lift check list or procedure(s) shall be carried out prior to any lifting
activities of following cranes:
Operation:
Any movement of crane is only directed by signalman.
Well communication shall be developed between signalmen of each
crane and people surrounding before any movement (lifting, forward, backward
and swinging.
Distance of 60 cm between counterweight and any solid
obstruction.
Good illumination for night shift work shall be provided. Min. 200lux
The lifting operation must not be closer than 5m to existing IFC-1
office building.
Monthly crane inspection sticker/ label displayed

Load chart in cabin
Tag lines in use
Personnel are clear from lifting area
Lift will not be travelling over any personnel or property
Clear view of signalman (banks man)
No pulling or side loading allowed
Load radius indicator operational

configuration
Rigging:
Check all rigging for damage and excessive wear and tear
Check capacity off all elements
Check all elements for damage, wear and tear
Hook safety latch operational
Check and record weight of load
Check total load weight against Load Chart
Travelling:
Block secured
Indicators, lights, horn etc operational
Route checked for travel restrictions and height limitations
Speed to be kept as low as possible
Parking:
Swing brake and locking pin applied
Synthetic web and other slings shall be daily inspected before use. Damaged or defective
slings shall be immediately removed from service.
The angle should be no more than 90° and must never exceed 120° under any
circumstances.

Coordinate all lifting activities in accordance
with the Lifting Plan.
Brief all lifting team members on the Lifting
Plan, safe lifting procedure and RA;
Ensure that only registered crane operators,
appointed riggers and appointed signalmen
participate in any lifting operation involving
the use of cranes;
Ensure that the ground conditions are safe
for any lifting operation to be performed;
Be present during all lifting operations to
ensure that the lift is carried out in
accordance with the lifting plan;
Keep within his/her sight and view of all the
lifting operations; and Take suitable
measures to rectify any unsafe conditions to
ensure the lifting operation can be
conducted safely
