Everyone who has something `at stake’ in the education process in DAV Schools is Stakeholder

Schools, DAV Schools like other human organizations, are prone to one or other type of conflict. Three
ingredients that seem to be present in every conflict: Interdependence, Perception (at least by one part) an
Antagonism.
We in schools adopt various conflict management strategies for handling conflict; Such as mediation,
negotiation, avoidance, collaborates of schools
Conflict is not the same as discomfort. The conflict isn't the problem - it is when conflict is poorly managed that
is the problem. Main Reasons for Conflict are tasks, values, goals, and so on.

MAJOR STAKEHOLDER CONFLICTS IN DAV PUBLIC SCHOOL AND NATURE OF CONFLICT ARE:

1. Affective Conflict: A condition of DAV school when the many students/ teachers didn’t get expected
results than this lead to conflict by anger, frustration, and other negative feelings. These are internal
stakeholder create conflict among the parents and students.

2. Admission Quota conflict: The quota system or reservation seats for admission of students in DAV
BISTUPUR is a major external stakeholder conflicts as there is many influences and pressure put on the
school committee for admission and creates conflict on lottery system .

3. Increased in Annual school fee conflict: In DAV School there is also an issue or conflict regarding
annual increased in school fees and policy maker and school authorities were having some conflict among
team members.

4. Substantive Conflict: characterized as “disagreements among group members and school committee’

5. Goal Conflict and competition conflict: This occurs when a preferred outcome is not achieved and
there is pressure on students by their parents, teachers and school staff (internal stakeholder).

6. Conflicts of relationships are caused by personality or behaviour of internal stakeholders’

SOLUTION FOR ONE OF THE MAJOR CONFLICT WITH THE USAGE OF THE ORGANIZATIONAL CONCEPTS

Conflicts of relationships in internal stakeholders are caused by personality or behaviour of stakeholders’
