Introduction

Enrolment serves as a vital part in the life of every student upon entering
schools or universities, either public or in private. It gives students the
impression on how the whole institute manages and manipulate the
entire body. Moreover, enrolment serves as the first experience of all
students by which he/she takes part either individually or with company
of a parent or some relatives.
Enrolment is considered as the first step or procedure that must be done
by old students within a particular institute before the semester per
school year totally starts, but for those freshmen, or first year students
(new students), they are obliged to usually take an admission test, to
know and assess them the right course to engage to, followed by a
scheduled interview in order to give them brief instructions and
information about certain issues with regards to the school’s policies,
institutional programs as well as personal information, health, economic
status, so on and so forth.
Good enrolment is always an asset in a university, pertaining to fast
payment, assessment procedures, and easy transactions with a high rate
of accuracy. Therefore, good enrolment within the university, if
present, can be described as civilize, organize, accurate and professional.

Background of the Study

During enrolment, it is undeniably noticeable on some problems and difficulties arising

from each respective procedure, hence leading to minor errors and inaccuracy. In
college, known as tertiary level, University Administration Officers with the help of the

kind of system is needed by every companies and institutions nowadays. This is the best

file cabinets. This will help the registrar of Buyabod School of Arts and Trade generates a
quick and efficient data they need.

The Buyabod School of Arts and Trade were established on the year 2000 under the
Republic Act 87130. It is one of the prominent schools in the province that offers
Vocational and Technical Education. Its primary purpose was to develop, train and equip
the students not only with knowledge but also skills in turn to produce quality workforce
that is highly productive and adaptable to the newly emerging trends in technology. This
school consists of approximately 600 students; as a result the assigned employees need to
perform their work in an efficient time with precise information in order to accommodate
all the enrollees and other old students.

The Buyabod School of Arts and Trade use a manual method in their enrollment system.
As a result they encountered unexpected problems like loss of information and slow
transaction. As the proponents conducted their research and analyze the existing system,
they’ve decided to recommend a computer based enrollment system at that enables the
faculty and administration of the school to gain a good services for every students and to
address the problems that occurs because of their manual enrollment system so that
institution will be one or the leading institution in the province.
