Welcome to your university!

A new phase of life is now beginning for you. You will be studying at Esslingen University
of Applied Sciences either in a bachelor’s program for the next three or four years, in an
international student exchange program for half a year, or in an international master’s

Alongside your studies, there are a great many activities that are intended to make

Where is my lecture room?

Room numbers at Esslingen University of Applied Sciences are organised according to the
following system:

Example: S 1.204
S/F/G = the letter refers to the campus
(S = City Centre, F= Hilltop Campus, Flandernstrasse, G = Goeppingen)
Number before the point: refers to the building number
Numbers after the point: refer to the room number, whereby the first number gives the
floor within the building. If the first number has a minus sign, this means that the room
is in the basement.

So our example S 1.204 is

• on the City Centre Campus
• in building 1
• on the 2nd floor and has the
• room number 204.

Maps of the different campuses can be found under Anfahrt.
