a. Pre listening:
(60 minutes) 1. Teacher gets pupils’ attention to TB page 31.
2. Get the pupils to talk about the picture.
3. Teacher asks questions to encourage active participation.
4. Teacher asks pupils if they have heard or read about any other Malaysian
legends. If yes, teacher asks the pupils to come in front and share with the
class.
5. Guide them if necessary.

b. While listening:
1. Tell the pupils that they are going to listen to a dialogue of Miss Sharmila and
pupils of 5 Bestari.
2. Distributes listening task sheet.
3. Read the dialogue at TB page 32.
4. Pupils listen carefully and fill in the blanks with the correct words.
5. Repeat reading the dialogue.
6. Get the pupils to recheck their answers.
7. Discuss the answers with pupils.

c. Post listening:
1. Ask pupils whether they have been to a museum before.
2. Teacher explains to pupils what a museum is.
3. Show a few pictures of museums. (inside view)
4. Pupils look at the pictures carefully.
5. Pupils work in groups.
6. Pupils discuss about what they can see at the Grand Museum.
7. Pupils write their ideas in bubble map form.
8. Each group takes turn to present their map.
9. Guide them when necessary.
