In consideration of new changes and level of

community involvement, OSBRA would write a
letter of support Towers group development
plan for 210 Masson as presented on March 20,
2018.

MOTION by Fernand Gauthier

That the Association focus on and follow their

own by-law 3, section 2.4. “To encourage the
development of family units in le Vieux Saint-
Boniface through the adoption of suitable
policies pertaining to housing, parks and
recreation, transportation, industry,
commercial and other community services.

MOTION by Brenda

That the Association approach the City Council

to make it “mandatory” for all Developers to
engage in; collaborative, meaningful, and
respectful, and respectful dialogues with areas
residents who are directly and/or indirectly
affected by new developments prior to
requesting re-zoning and/or variances. Thereby
avoiding numerous appeals and consuming
everyone’s time and efforts, including City
Council.

That we exercise the right under the

Association’s by-law to remove all current
members who have missed more than 3
meetings.

That rail safety motions 1/ 2 / 5 identified at

the 2017 OSBRA AGM be repeated as motions
as no progress has been made since the last
AGM.

That the Association should continue

endeavours to ensure that all industrial lands
be changed/designated to park land. Under a
previous by-law all industrial lands along the
river bank shall be deemed public use and to be
more specific designated as park land.
