Introducción.

The search for electric power generation by unconventional methods has

been an important objective in recent decades due to the climatic and

environmental problems that have arisen and caused fossil fuels when generating

electricity for large cities and populations of the world, problems such as the

melting of the poles, stronger and longer weather phenomena in addition to air

pollution and deterioration of the ozone layer among others. That is why, and more

than looking for alternatives, it is essential not to continue damaging our planet.

The generation of electricity through Sargasso satisfies two major

problems that are currently in our country, one is to eliminate the tons that arrive on

tourist coasts that give bad appearance to water and sand and that make it

impossible to do activities in them and the other the generation of electrical energy

by means of the compost that is generated with the help of Sargasso.

In the present work we talk about the process that takes to make the generation of

electrical energy through the Sargasso.

Why generate electricity with Sargasso?

Currently the generation of

electricity in the world as shown in

illustration 1, from which we can see that

renewable energy methods are very low

compared to conventional methods.

as interest grows in sustainable fuel

sources and the search for their elimination. According to Dr. Norma Patricia

Muñoz Sevilla, professor and researcher at the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN),

because of its high potential in the generation of methane gas, Sargasso produces

energy through the process of biodigestion, which could electrify tourist complexes

and urban areas of the coast of Quintana Roo, The use of waste products such as

Sargasso avoids the dilemma between garbage or fuel and also the biofuels

generated with Sargasso represent a partial sustainable substitution for fossil fuels.

The procedure would be with the use of biodigesters that are hermetically sealed

containers or tanks that allow the loading of organic waste, where the organic

matter decomposes anaerobically (without air), to obtain, collect and store the

biogas for later energy use , that in the case of the Sargasso can be so applying

heat or by means of fungi called trametes hirsuta this which this fungus breaks the

walls of structures of the microalgae, to leave exposed compounds such as

cellulose and unicellulose, which will later pass to a reactor in which with the help

of climatic conditions and an inoculum (bacterial consortium) will turn the Sargasso

into methane gas.
