Minutes of the 823rd Meeting of the Junior Curia Maria Coronata held in 2nd
Floor of Multi-Purpose Hall San Roque Parish Church last November 4, 2018
I. The meeting started at 2:20 PM with an Opening Prayer and Rosary led by Sis. Judith Abogadie,
President

II. The Spiritual Reading was taken from English Handbook Chapter 33 Topic 14 entitled “Legionary
and the Christian Vocation” EHB pp. 207-209

III. Minutes
The minutes of the 822nd meeting was read with no suggestion and correction.

VII. Reports:
a. Mater Sacerdotum
Sis. Leny Barajas submitted and reported their Semi-Annual Report. Their praesidium meets every
Sunday at 10:00 AM at San Roque Multi-purpose hall. It consists of 3 members. The regular works
of apostolate are the following:
1. Alay Kapwa 7. Visit made to the Blessed Sacrament
2. Bringing People to Mass 8. Praying the Angelus
3. Campaign to pray rosary 9. 3 Hail mary Devotion
4. Praying the rosary 10. Fostering the Spirit of Nazareth
5. Attending Ordinary Mass 11. Sunday Mass Obligation
6. Graces before and after meal
 The Praesidium encounter problem such as lack of officers and irregular attendance of the members.
After the report, the appreciation was given due to patiently waiting for the new members after
declining in the membership for many years. Lastly, they were reminded about the time of the
meeting as per advice of the Senior Curia.

 To Report next month, Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament (Report from June to November)

VIII. Catena Legionis

After clearing all the reports, everybody stood up for the Catena Legionis at 3:10 PM

IX. Allucutio:
The Allucutio was given by Sis. Judith
“Pope Francis began the Synod on young people with a homily calling for the Holy Spirit to renew
hope and dynamism in the Church especially for our youth. Most of our youth today are immersed
with different technological advancement such as android phones, laptop etc. As legionaries, we are
encouraged to inflame our hearts the Christian vocation. We are invited to fulfill our Priestly,
Prophetic and Kingly mission through intimate prayer relation with God through Mary, Bible study,
learn to evangelize through handbook discussion and be a humble leader in every praesidium.”

XI. Point to be stressed

The point to be stressed was read by Bro. Kenneth Samson
“We pray in the Legion Promise that we may become instruments of the Holy Spirit's mighty
purposes. Certainly, our actions should always be supernaturally motivated, but our nature also
must provide the Holy Spirit with as perfect an instrument as possible. Christ is a Divine Person, but
his human nature played a part in his actions, his human intelligence, his voice, his glance, his
manner of behavior. People, including children, the most discerning of all, liked to be in his
company. He was a welcome guest at everyone's table”

XI. Queries and Suggestion

1. Due to the resignation of Sis. Marianne Taoc as Treasurer of Junior Curia Maria Coronata, Sis.
Judith announced the election of the new Curia Treasurer next month
2. Sis. Judith also encouraged some members to join the Maria et Fides this coming December at
Bacoor, Cavite.
