VIII. SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS:

a. For personnel in uniform, the firearm shall be placed in a holster securely

attached to the belt. Personnel in uniform without holster or personnel in civilian
attire should carry firearm/s in an attaché case or in a similarly secure hand
luggage/clutch bag. The tucking of firearm/s under the belt, side pockets is
prohibited except close-in security for VIP’s or when nature of mission so
demands.
b. The carrying of firearms is prohibited in places where people gather for
political, religious, social;, educational and recreational purposes, such as at
churches or chapels, carnival grounds or fairs, nightclubs, cocktail lounges, bars
and other liquor vending places, theaters, movies, cockpits, racetracks, and the
likes, except when the personnel concerned is on official mission in such places
for which he was authorized to carry firearm/s.
c. When the LETTER ORDER is requested for verification by law enforcement
and military units/personnel, the LETTER ORDER should be shown without
resentment to avoid embarrassment and/or misunderstanding.
d. Implicit to this LETTER ORDER is the injunction that the confidential instruction
will be carried out through all legal means and do not cover any actuation in
violation of laws. In latter events, the LETTER ORDER is tendered inoperative in
respect to such violation/s.
e. The LETTER ORDER can not be used as an excuse/reason for the bearer
thereof, it not appearing before any court or investigative body as witness therein
when so required, except, when the mission involves national security or the
preservation of life.

IX.THIS LETTER ORDER IS VALID ONLY WITHIN THE AREA INDICATED IN

PARAGRAPH III.

X. OTHER INSTRUCTIONS: as directed

Return to proper station upon completion of mission. Exempted from

prohibition as stated in paragraph VIII. (b) of the above.
