To Whom It May Concern:

It is an honor to recommend Ms. Alexa Cordray for a teaching position in your district. Ms. Cordray has
worked with me at Centennial Elementary for the past year and is a teacher who cares immensely about her
students being successful. She consistently collaborates with building administrators to develop plans for
ensuring that effective behavioral and instructional strategies govern her instruction.

Ms. Cordray believes that every child can achieve. Recently, I had the opportunity to observe Ms.
Cordray work one on one with a student who was exhibiting avoidance behaviors. Ms. Cordray expertly
provided redirection to the students and followed up with modeling the expectations for the child to be
successful. When she noticed this is a pattern with this student, she did a wonderful job of enlisting the help
of the student’s parents. She regularly emails and communicates with parents to help her students, and her
extra efforts with parents really help her students.

Ms. Cordray has exceptional relationships with students. Her ability to connect with students is
notable. She is committed to being a teacher kids love and respect. I also appreciate how she continually
asks for feedback in her present position and is willing to accept feedback. I know she will positively impact
your team. Her content knowledge, partnerships with parents, and her ability to form quality and lasting
relationships with students will make your school a better place.

In closing, I highly recommend Ms. Cordray for any teaching position in your school district that she
would like to have. I know that Ms. Cordray would be an addition that your staff could depend on, and she
will be a great support to your teachers and her team. She is passionate about doing what is best for her
students, taking an active role in working with parents, and creating a classroom culture that will help
students thrive. If you should have further questions, please feel free to contact me at the number listed
below or (719) 896-6715.

Sincerely,

Kim Noyes
