We recommend the usage of the Cobra4 Xpert-Link with a lap-
top in battery mode, i.e. with the power adapter disconnected.
Otherwise the mains current could possibly distort the meas-
urement. Thereby the operating system must not be in energy-
saving mode, because the entire performance is needed for
the measurements.
This high-quality instrument fulfils all of the technical require-
ments that are compiled in current EC guidelines. The charac-
teristics of this product qualify it for the CE mark.

5.2 Configuration and handling


5.2.1 Channel configuration
The configuration of the channels can be performed individu-
ally and independently from the other channels. The configu-
ration is available under / Settings / Sensors/Channels. It
is also available by clicking on the gearwheel-symbol in the
Xpert-Link menu of the input bar (Fig. 4)
For every measuring channel the following operating modes
