Parte de la geología que estudia la estructura y composición de la Tierra y los agentes

físicos que la modifican.
 El término anomalía geofísica se refiere a una propiedad física de la tierra, que en un
volumen definido, difiere apreciablemente con respecto a su valor común o normal
correspondiente a esa región o tipo de roca.

 En un caso favorable una anomalía geofísica corresponde a un depósito mineral.

Clasificación de Métodos Geofísicos

 Estáticos: miden distorsiones que se producen en algún campo de fuerza que no varía
con el tiempo.( Mag. Grav).

 Dinámicos : los campos que se miden varían con el tiempo (electromagnético,

sísmico).

 Relajación : son intermedios por ej: IP o sobretensión.

Los métodos magnéticos y electromagnéticos pueden ser adaptados para su aplicación desde
el aire y todos salvo el gravímetro pueden emplearse en el interior de perforaciones

volume, differs appreciably with respect to its common or normal value corresponding to that
region or type of rock.

In a favorable case, a geophysical anomaly corresponds to a mineral deposit.

Classification of Geophysical Methods

Static: they measure distortions that occur in a force field that does not change with time
(Mag. Grav).

Dynamics: the fields that are measured vary with time (electromagnetic, seismic).

Relaxation: they are intermediate for example: IP or overvoltage.

The magnetic and electromagnetic methods can be adapted to be applied from the air and all
except the gravimeter can be used inside perforations
