I am currently an undergraduate student at Arizona State University, pursuing
a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting. I have previously taken very diverse art courses including Ceramics, Watercolor, and Mexican Art History. I am mainly interested in Latin American art & culture, which heavily influences my work.
My professional experience as an artist, includes community involvement in a
local Art Walk, where I exhibited my artwork and led a panel discussion. I am also involved in an art club, the Ascending Artists Association, which has helped me to showcase my artwork and meet other artists within the art school.
My work experience is very diverse. I’ve worked in retail at a JCPenney store,
and I currently work as a student verifier at the ASU Admissions Services and as a museum ambassador at the ASU Art Museum. Through my volunteer and work experience, I have developed skills in communication, organization, punctuality, and self-management. These are all skills that have helped me balance my professional practice and school work.
