GE Series 90 Maintenance with Logicmaster Software

Course Description
GE Series 90 General Maintenance course provides the
participant with the skills necessary to troubleshoot and repair
faults in Series 90 programmable controllers.

Target Participants
The course is intended for personnel involved in the maintenance and troubleshooting of a
Series 90-30 or a Series 90-70 PLC using Logicmaster 90 software.

Prerequisites
Participants should have a fundamental understanding of electro-mechanical controls,
basic relay ladder diagrams, and familiar with PC.

Objectives
Upon completion of this Course, the participant will be able to:
 Explain fundamental PLC concepts.
 Install the necessary components for a Series 90 PLC system.
 Use Logicmaster software to configure a Series 90 PLC system.
 Interpret the PLC and I/O Fault Tables as software troubleshooting tools.
 Use the Search Function, Override and Diagnostic LEDs to determine system
faults.
 Determine power flow from functions in the instruction set.
 Use editing functions to change an application program.
