Schools Best Practices Through Leadership and Governance of the Stakeholders

“It is not impossible to work as one team and in one direction.”


Vicente Chaves Memorial Central School (VNCMCS) has striving and soaring towards school children’s maximum holistic
development as well as physical improvement of the school through the leadership and governance of different
stakeholders.

The road to quality education has never been easy. However, its collective and continuous support were proof of
numerous accomplish from which they hurdled as shown from the data and results from previous years up to present.

BRIGADA –

For three (3) consecutive years, the school garnered these awards which was recognized in the Division of Misamis
Oriental.

2018- 3rd place Big Central School Category


2017 – 1st place Mega Category Award
2016 – 3rd Place Big School Category Award

2017 Most outstanding Paper adviser in Region X, Dumaguete City

 National Winner in EPP’s 2004 STEP Competition - Stool Making

 And Multiple Regional and Division Wins in the different areas of competition. The same goes to Outstanding
Teachers Award in the Regional and Division Level.

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT
The utilization and provision of e-room’s computer sets for schoolchildren by DepEd and the Philippine Sinter
Corporation in consortium with the Aboitiz Company with free internet connectivity. Recently, VNCMCS conducted
its first Automated SPG Election through the uses of such technology in voting. The success of the said activity has
gained recognition from the division office.

ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP GRANT -

Sponsored by Steag and Philippine Sinter Corporation whose beneficiaries are the indigent but deserving incoming
Grade 7 students. Scholars receives monthly allowance which can be claimed every three (3) months.

Provision of school supplies to top 3 children in every grade level from STEAG.

Provision of school supplies to indigent children by the World Vision, Inc.

SPORTS FACILITIES

Through the support of the LGU Villanueva under the dynamic leadership of the Hon. Mayor Jennie Rosalie T. Uy,
different athletes from the school have gone far during sports and athletic competitions and garnered wins in the
highest level.

PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT

“Our school is now leading to where our major stakeholders wanted it to be. Through the initiative of the Hon.
Congresswoman Juliet T. Uy, the 4 and 3 storey building with 64 classrooms are about to finish and soon to be occupied
by school children.

For all of these developments, it is not impossible to work as “One team and One Direction”. Together our school
march towards pupil’s development and onward to quality education for all
