each, Section C contains 10 questions of 3 marks each and Section D contains 8 question of
4 marks each.

corresponding sector is 30°.
8. If tan (2A) = cot (A – 18°), where 2A is an acute angle,, find the value of A.

13. In figure, S and T trisect the side QR of a right triangle PQR, prove that
8PT2 = 3PR2 + 5PS2.
14. Draw a graph of 2x + y = 6 and 2x – y + 2 = 0, shade the region bounded by
these lines and x-axis. Find the area of the shaded region.
15. The following table gives the number of participants in a yoga camp :

16. Find the HCF and LCM of 117, 143, 104 using prime factorisation method. Also
