The digital revolution has created new economic actors bringing new
competitors and costumers making business global with internet and new
devices are helping to develop the products and its strategy creating a new
trend. In this century things start to change the industrial age was marked by
standardization and the digital era is about customization. Relations between
small and medium sized companies are a new trend thanks to the internet,
big corporations are looking for younger firms that bring new ideas and
entrepreneurial talent by acquiring startups, this is an Europe’s strategy to
sustain a global lead in innovation. Policy opportunities help market and
products to cross borders and giving a dynamic interaction and makes the
product more valuable, digitization gives company agility in different process.
at this time reshoring and manufacturing are taking a new shape because of
technology the 3D printing can be a new way to lower cost and make
production process faster than before but this should be part of a policy for
new companies. Innovation in services and manufacturing are not easy to
replicate and this gives a significant advantage with the competitors.

The opportunities that the digital era and the development of new technology are
changing the way that corporations and younger firms are working and the
advantage that this new world brings to entrepreneurs, there isn’t borders for the
new companies that are get in to the game and the internet and costumers are
just at one click and this makes the market big enough to work, the new policies
need to be made for the new market, the interaction between competitors,
companies and costumers is closer than before, new ideas and innovation are
the most important thing to work for that even the big corporations are looking for
partnerships with small businesses and the strategy of the Europe zone to
sustain and keeping innovation is to lead and work together.

dominance in certain areas, there are many fields where
European companies can lead globally by operating at
the intersection of products and services. Industry 4.0
is commonly known, but other areas are up for grabs
as well: medical technology, smart cities, the circular
economy, ‘learning’ home appliances, and intelligent
transport systems. The integration of goods and services
is almost always powered by data and enabled by
interoperability, making technology adoption by all
companies, including in traditional sectors, an urgent
policy priority.
