Use the information from your observation sheet to answer the following questions.

1. What patterns did you see between air pressure and precipitation?

On pattern that I saw between air pressure and precipitation is that the air pressure goes from
high to low and the precipitation goes from low to high.

2. What patterns did you see between air pressure and temperature?

One pattern that I have seen between air pressure and temperature is that the temperature
and air pressure numbers go from high to low.
3. What patterns did you see between air pressure and wind speed and direction?

One pattern that I’ve seen is that in the air pressure the numbers on the data go from high to
low and on Wind speed it goes from low to high. On the wind direction the pattern I saw was
that on day one the wind direction was coming from the east and on day 3 and 5 the wind
direction was coming from the west. On day 2 and 4 the wind direction was coming from the
west.

4. Over the five-day period, which day had the highest barometric pressure readings? Which
day did this occur? Describe the general weather conditions for on that day.

One day 2 the general weather conditions was for that day because the air pressure was
reading 1022.

5. Over the five-day period, which day had the lowest barometric pressure readings? Which day
did this occur? Describe the general weather conditions on that day.

On day 4 the general weather conditions was for that day because the air pressure was
reading 750.

6. Which days had the least change in air pressure over the five-day period? Describe the
general weather conditions for these days.

Day 1 and 2 had the least change in air pressure over the five-day period because on day 1
the air pressure was reading 1018 and on day 2 the air pressure was reading 1022.

7. What conclusion can you make about the connection between barometric pressure and
general weather conditions?
One connection that I made between barometric pressure and general weather conditions is
that now I know how to use a data and how to fill out a data by telling the barometric pressure
and by the general weather conditions.

8. Predict what the weather conditions will be like tomorrow based on your data. Write the
predicted temperature, wind speed, wind direction, barometric pressure, and relative humidity.

The weather tomorrow will be cloudy with the temperature of 65 degrees and the wind speed
of 20 mph. The wind direction will be coming from the east and humidity of 20.

9. Choose three different cities, not your city. What is the barometric pressure reading for each
city?

West Covina= 30%

Azusa= 30%
Ontario= 30%

10. Predict the general weather conditions for each city.

I predict the weather condition for the 3 cities are going to be fresh with wind speeds.

11. How does your prediction of the general weather conditions for each of your three cities
compare with the actual weather? If they are not similar, explain what might have caused the
differences.

My prediction was right because when I checked the weather it said that the weather was
going to be sunny with little clouds and that there would be wind speeds of 5 to 6 mph.
