TANGUB: eco-friendly and eco-tourism city

Tangub City is known as the Christmas symbol capital of the Philippines, is located in region
10, northern Mindanao. One of the smallest city but has a good heart to welcome the tourists to love
and be loved as their second home. What are the possible effect when all projects will be successfully
done in the future?

The city of Tangub has a land area of 17,211 hectares that composed of 55 barangays, 22 are
urbans and the rest are rural, 15 out of 55 are coastal, their electricity is 24/7. 46% are plain, 60% are
rolling and hilly (bulubundukin). Their population close to 70,000 in this year 2018. Their household
counts reaches 14,246 density of four persons/house.

Their total road network is 205,854 km, 109.17 km concrete, 18.69 km asphalt, 17.99
graveled. In September their fiesta month they celebrated Dalit festival as an offering of thanksgiving.

They have many projects and one of it the Panguil Bay Bridge that estimated time based on
the plan counting in 36 months , are of 3.772 km. They promote tangub city government as eco-tourism
and eco-friendly in region 10. Their latest project is the tangub city boulevard that cost 4.89 billion, an
area of 3 km. The willingness of tangubanon help the government to have a eco-friendly and eco-
tourism city.

In addition of, “Education is the banner program of Tangub City.” The Philippines is so wide
