HFC ​with a GWP (global warming potential) 1,430 times greater than carbon
dioxide.

There is no guaranteed supply of refrigerant after a phase-out, and demand is

difficult to predict. With widespread availability of R134a, at a reasonable cost,
combined with its efficiency, it remains the best positive pressure A1 choice today
for new centrifugal chillers.

Considered a medium range refrigerant, and used in auto, domestic refrigeration

and commercial industries including

· Car air conditioning.

· Domestic refrigerators.

· Centrifugal water chillers.

· Heat pumps.

· Cooling chambers.

· Refrigerated transport.

· Commercial refrigeration.
