Thanks to Almighty God Who has given bless to the writer for finishing the article
“Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)” without any hindrance.

The writer also wish to express the deep and sincere gratitude for all of people who have
guided in completing this article.

In writing this article we have tried to introduce the subject of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder (ADHD) in as simple a form as possible for psychology in the Bachelor of Applied
Science in Nursing, Health Polytechnic of Health Ministry Semarang.

It is to be hoped that the student will be able to acquire a sound knowledge of the subject,
by using this article as well as from the next. We hope that this article may not only be of value
to the student nurse but to lecturers and other majors.

 CHAPTER I
PRELIMINARY

1.1 Background
As autism or other of disorders, such as lupus and HIV / AIDS, hyperactive attention concentration
disorder, or better known in Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is currently being discussed,
questioned, and attempted to treat. This phenomenal phenomenon because in the view of the layman, this
disorder for them more commonly called disease is a new phenomenon that seems to come from where
suddenly. So if it is called a stir, it is not excessive.
Against such disorders as ADHD, so widespread people talk. The professionals are often
overwhelmed answer and explain the questions and situations that actually happen to the patient and the
patient's parents. Sometimes it is not a question but rather a problem and a description that provokes
discussion.
Thus, it becomes clear that against these rapid interruptions in society, there is an opportunity for
a frenzy over this issue. Of course the opportunity to actually build enlightenment and the addition of
knowledge.

In accordance with the formulation of the above problem, the purpose of writing this paper is to
explain the causes and how the treatment and prevention of ADHD sufferers.
