Subject: Relocation of Titas Gas pipeline network under the project of Greater Dhaka Sustainable
Urban Transort (From Km 2+600 – Km 7+100)- Contract no. GDSUITP(BRT, Gazipur-
Airport) BBA/ICB/WP-02

This is to inform you that for implementation of above mentioned project it is required to relocate the gas
pipeline within the. Recently on 05 Oct and 17 November 2018 two gas leakage accidents occurred during
excavation works. So, it is necessary to relocate the pipeline as soon as possible from the project area.
For this, following steps have to be taken for relocation of gas pipeline network.
1. Appointment of 1.4 category Enlisted contractor of Titas Gas.
2. After appointment of contractor first they will provide actual position of pipeline with detail road plan and
profiles of the project(scale 1:1000, paper A1) showing actual position of gas pipeline.
3. After getting detail drawing, pipeline design department of TGTDCL will provide design and estimate for
relocation of gas pipeline network as per site condition.
4. The contractor (Jiangsu Provincial Transportation Engineering Group Co., Ltd) will pay the
consultancy/supervision fee to TGTDCL. TGTDCL will then provide the technical specification of
materials. The contractor will collect/procure the materials as per technical specification provided by
TGTDCL.
5. After design, estimate and procuring of materials, the appointed contractor will do the relocation works
under the supervision of pipeline construction department of TGTDCL.
6. Before and during execution of pipeline works, concerned division/department of TGTDCL (Emergency gas
control department, System operation department) will continuously monitor for the safety of gas network.
