Start of Kuya Deyvid Good morning! We are CFC-Youth for Christ. Ako nga pala si
jamming Kuya Deyvid, and together with me are Ate Chiara (sharer 1)
session and Ate Sherlyn (sharer 2). Let me also introduce to you our
band for this afternoon’s acoustic session (introduce each
band member).

Your Love
Central Kuya Deyvid Love is a journey. And we are made to love, with a love that
Message and entails being a sincere gift to others. Ang tunay na

points madalas, ang salitang “love” ay hindi nagagamit nang tama.
We attach different meanings to love nowadays – masakit,
nakakalito, nakakatakot, etc.

Mundo’y magiging ikaw. Minsan, ginagawa na nating mundo

ang isang tao. Nakakalimutan na natin ang ibang bagay.
Di ba nga sabi kanina, Love is a journey, kaya hindi ito
minamadali, hindi ito instant. Dahil sa iba at maling tingin
natin sa love, kaya tayo mas nasasaktan.
Supporting Kuya Deyvid As young as we are, naghahanap tayo ng love and actually
points we are surrounded with love! Mula sa pamilya, mga
kaibigan, mga kasama natin araw-araw. We are called to see
and appreciate yung pagmamahal na ito to help us in
knowing God more. Kailangan lang natin i-open ang sarili
natin sa mga ilang bagay, tulad ng (cue sharer 1)

Encounter Chiara (Sharer 1) Encounter! Kailangan natin ng real encounter sa mga

kapamilya, kaibigan at ka-community natin. Puro facebook,
instagram at rant sa twitter na lang kasi tayo ngayon. Pero
we need to be in touch with reality and be present sa mga
taong minamahal tayo, lalo na ang pamilya natin. (Sharing
about family – how she used to look/thought to have found
love in other things, but found it and appreciated it on her
family)

This is love, coming back and having real encounters with

the one and only who love you the most – your family.

Care Sherlyn (Sharer Isa sa mga bagay na kailangan nating i-open ang sarili natin
2) ay ang matutong mag-care. Caring for one another – sa lahat
in general. Hindi exclusively sa boyfriend o girlfriend. Caring
as simple as paggreet mo kay manong guard sa school kada
umaga, o pagsabi ng thank you sa nanay o tatay mo o pag-
remind sa kaibigan mo na di siya nag-iisa.

(Sharing about chaste friendship – how she used to

look/thought to have found love in early romantic
relationship but discovered it is not true love and has
appreciated love with her friends)

This is love, giving care to others is like being a flashlight

when someone’s stuck in the dark night.

True Love Kuya Deyvid Tama yung kanta noh, sa ating mga kabarkada, mga kaklase,
mga friends, “I got all I need when I got you and I”, nandyan
ka lagi para suportahan at tulungan ang bawat isa. Right on
time din since we, tayong mga kabataan, are in this stage of
still discovering ourselves and still learning in school, it right
for us to be in a “chaste friendship”, aka pagkakaibigang
walang malisya.

Eh ano nga ba ang true love?

True love entails sacrifice. Ang pagbibigay oras ay isang

regalo para sa minamahal mo. At ang taong nagmamahal, ay
willing i-embrace ang buong pagkatao mo, including your
weaknesses and errors.

Balikan lang natin yung last na kanta:

Kung may isang tao na unang nagsacrifice para sayo,

nagbigay ng lahat ng oras para sayo, tinanggap ka nang buo
kahit mga kahinaan at kamalian mo – si Lord na yun. Siya
ang unang nagpakita at nagbigay ng tunay na pagmamahal.

Baka kaya tayo nasasaktan kakahanap ng true love sa ibang

tao, dahil hindi natin alam pano mahalin ang mga sarili
mismo natin.

Starting from now, allow the One na nagmahal sayo nang

una, to love you. Let’s discover what true love is, from love,
Himself, God.

Conclusion Kuya Deyvid True love isn’t just about romantic relationships. There is
more to it than that. (Speaker share how he has encountered
true love, can be a calling story, etc.)

I’m your Kuya Deyvid and I am a lay missionary. This is

where I am most loved by the Lord right now. Kayo, kung
nasaan kayo ngayon, that is where you are most loved by
the Lord. Kung nag-aaral kayo ngayon, kung ano at sino ang
pamilya mo ngayon, God has placed you there to feel His
love right now.

Love is a journey. Para itong mahabang biyahe. Huwag

nating madaliin ang love of our life o partner natin
habambuhay, ngayong nag-aaral pa tayo. Let us discover
and improve ourselves, enhance our skills and talents
habang bata pa tayo. Let’s allow God na isakay sa mahabang
biyahe na ito ang tamang tao sa tamang panahon.

Sa ngayon, buksan natin ang puso natin sa mga taong

nandyan na, kasabay at kasama na natin sa biyaheng ito.
Ang pamilya, kaibigan, at community natin.

Hayaan mong ihanda tayo ni Lord sa mas masayang biyahe.

Dahil ang biyahe na ito ay Diyos ang simula at hantungan.

Ride Home
Session Kuya Deyvid We can always go home to our God who loves us
Dynamics unconditionally. True love is where God is.
 Now, as we go home especially to our families, let’s not
forget to have real encounters and give care to the people
we are called to love.

To help us remember what true love is from this afternoon’s

jamming session, we will have an activity. Isa isa tayong
tatayo at pupunta sa freedom wall in between ng stage to
get one definition of love na nakadikit doon. Let that be an
inspiration for us to continue to discover what true love is.
