Banana Cake
This banana cake recipe is absolutly delicious and perfect for using up those ripe
bananas.
1. Grease and line a deep 20.5cm / 8 inch loose bottomed cake tin.
2. Cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, then add the egg a little at a time.
3. Sift together the dried ingredients then using a hand mixer, mix into the creamed mixture, adding bananas and buttermilk.
4. Place into the tin and bake at 180°C / Gas Mark 4 for 40-45 minutes until firm to the touch. Cool and decorate with sliced bananas
