ZOHO – Getting started

This guide helps you to understand how to get started with ZOHO, Structure of ZOHO and how effectively
ZOHO could be used as a platform to prioritize your daily work tasks.

Step 1: Login to ZOHO: Please create the login credentials once you receive the email invite
from HR for getting started ZOHO. Please go to forget password option if you are already registered with
ZOHO.

❖ Project Group: Project Group is managed by SBU Head for his Business unit. SBU Head can
assign owners (Managers/Leads) to each Project where, Managers & Leads can create Task lists
& Task and assign them to the member (SE, SSE’s, Associate Leads) of the Project Group.
❖ Projects: Each Group has 5 default projects such as Sales, Delivery, Marketing, POV, Resourcing,
where SBU Head will have access to add additional projects, edit and delete the existing
projects.
❖ Task List/Task: Under Project, Task lists & Tasks shall be created by Managers & Leads and
assign them to their team members by specifying the timeline to complete each task.

❖ ZOHO Employee Login: Once employee Logs into his/her ZOHO account, employee will be able
to check the active tasks assigned to him/her and using ZOHO he/she could prioritize each task
and update the status once the task is completed.

Step 2: How to create Project Groups: Suneratech Project Groups are created by admin
and are assigned to SBU Head to manage the projects, Task lists & Tasks.

Step 2: How to create a Project: SBU/SSU Head has the access to create New Project in
ZOHO. Each Group has 5 default groups and SBU/SSU head has access to edit/add/ remove the groups in
the existing project. SBU Head can assign leads & Managers to the groups and provide access to them to
add Task list & Tasks with in the Groups.

The 5 Default Projects such as Sales, Delivery, Marketing, POV & Resourcing; SBU Head can add additional
project group by following the guidelines as mentioned in the screen shot.

Step 4: How to create, assign & view the Task/Task Lists:
❖ Right after creating a project, it can break down the plan into workable entities called Tasks.
❖ These tasks can be assigned by the SBU Heads/Managers/Leads to the employees in that project
group and it has to be accomplished within a defined period.
❖ Employee shall receive an automated email if the task is assigned to him and can login in to
ZOHO, Check the set duration, priority, reminders, set recurring frequency etc. And, when
employee complete a task it's easy to mark it as complete and store it in the closed tasks.
❖ After completing a task, employee may want to edit it, if so he/she can do it by reopening the
task again.
