Read: 1) This office letter No.B-8/ 2081 /2017 dated: 27/11/2017, submitted to
the Hon. High Court Bombay sending herewith a list of holidays and
vacations for the year 2018 proposed to be declared for the courts and
their office in the Judicial District of Nandurbar.

2) Hon. High Court letter No. X (Gen)-0202/2017/1617 dt: 22nd Dec. 2017

In view of directions issued by the Han. High Court Bombay, the following
list of holidays and vacations declared by the Principal District & Sessions Judge
Nandurbar, for all the courts and their offices in Judicial District Nandurbar for the
Calender year 2018 is hereby published.

2. All Civil Courts in the Judicial District Nandurbar will remain closed on account
of SUMMER VACATION from 02/05/2018 to 03/06/2018 (33 days) (both
days inclusive) and WINTER VACATION from 24/12/2018 to 30/12/2018
( 7 days) (both days inclusive).

3. All Criminal Courts and their offices in the Nandurbar District will function
during the above period of Summer and Winter Vacation except Sundays, 2nd and
4thSaturday as well as other Public Holidays.

4. All the Courts and Offices in Nandurbar District shall remain closed on all 2nd
and 4th Saturday and also on Sunday.

5. The list of holidays and vacations are likely to be modified in near future asper
recommendations of Shetty Commission and directions issued by the Hon.
Supreme Court of India in Writ Petition No. 1022/1989 (All India Judges
Association Vs. Union of India & Others)
