Teachers especially to Mrs. Ivy Marie P. Lumangcas for pursuing to accomplish this work
Immersion Training.

Lastly, for our almighty God who gives strength for always giving me another day to
wake up accomplishing my 10 days of work immersion.
PART 1: IMPORTANT
POINTS IN WORK
IMMERSION
INTRODUCTION

Senior High School have curriculum that called Work Immersion. This kind of
curriculum that can help the student to developed their skills and consisting of 80 hours of hand-
on experience or work simulation in which learners can apply their competencies and acquired
knowledge relevant to their track.

Work Immersion will help to us for preparing for the coming years has come. Through
this work immersion the students are exposed to and become familiarized with work-needed
environment related to their field of specialization.
OBJECTIVE OF THE WORK IMMERSION

Work Immersion is one of the requirements for graduation. A Senior High School
Students needs to undergo work immersion in a desired industry whose work requirements are
related to the specialization. Work immersion develops learners the competencies work ethic and
values, this subject will provide learners with opportunities;

To become familiar with the work place

For employment simulation; and

To apply their competencies in areas of specialization.

Work Immersion will help us to develop our life and career skills.
VALUES AND ATTRIBUTES OF A STUDENT

Students Immersion should be familiarized by the following values and attribute


in their respective work place.

GOOD COMMUNICATON

 Immersion will look for someone who can express themselves clearly both in
written and oral communication and be diligent \always put a lot effort and care to
your work.

HONESTY

 You need to be honest to your workplace so that the people around you sees you
as a trusted person, you good assets will revaile.

HARDWORKING

 Hardworking immersionist are the best partner of an industry in achieving its


goals.

WORKPLACE
WORK INDUSTRY PROFILE

Darbco IFS is a packing plant of banana distribution business of DARBCO IFS Coop. it
established in October 23, 2001 that has 276 hectares and 215 members of ARB`s/Beneficiaries.
This coop was handled by the Chairman Sir Ronald Velencio and followed by Sir Manuel N.
Gonos the manager.

It was designed to produce good quality of bananas as well as their source of income.
With their good quality of bananas they produce they became more successful and famous in the
field of Banana production and they have good support of UNIFRUITY that supervised them.

WORK INDUSTRY HISTORY

DARBCO are one of the popular Farm Coops in DAPCO. It divided into 2 Coops. This whole
Coops exists since 1998, it`s now 21 years and has 476 hectares. DARBCO divided into two coops the
MDS and IFS. The DARBCO-IFS exists since October 23, 2001 that has 276 hectares and 215 members.
This group handled by Ronald Velencio, the Chairman of DARBCO-IFS and followed by Manuel N.
Gonus, the Manager.

DARBCO-IFS divided into different Industries which are Harvesting, Production, Manufacturing,
Admin and etc. The target market of this coop is Japan, Middle East, Korea, and China and so on. Then
now they’re consumed 1 million boxes that consist of 4,400 to 4,600 per year. Back then there were once
be supervised by DOLE Philippines, due to the members discretion they have change their buyer from
DOLE Philippines to UNIFRUITY Company.

PRODUCT SERVICES DESCRIPTION

The DARBCO-IFS is one of good producer of an high quality of Banana which


is their main product. It undergoes many procedures to insure that the banana is healthy and
safety.

The industry partner of DARBCO-IFS is the UNIFRUTTI. Back then they


supervised by the DOLE but due to some problems they switch to UNIFRUTTI Company.

WORK INDUSTRY TARGET CLIENTLE

The target clientele of DARBCO-IFS is the one who needs a banana product. They make
sure to seek for a sure buyer to export their bananas.

DARBCO-IFS is located at Farm 2 Dapco, Panabo city.
