FINDINGS:

1. Welfare activities are well maintained in the South Central Railway, most of the employees
are satisfied.

2. Only few of the employees are satisfied with rates and quality in the canteen, remaining
employees are highly dissatisfied.

3. Majority of the employees are satisfied with transportation facility provided by the south
central railway.

4. Leave policy provided by the south central railway are satisfied by the employees.

5. Majority of the employees are satisfied with work and others felt that they are overburden with
work.

6. Allowances provided by the south central railway are satisfied by majority of the respondents.

7. Grievances management in the south central railway failed to satisfy majority of the
respondents.

SUGGESTIONS:

1. Maintenance of welfare activities should be done, welfare committee need to improve.

2. Need to improve better canteen facilities and rates to satisfy employees in the south central
railway.

4. South central railway should maintain leave policy for the employees to maintain satisfaction
of them.

5. The respondents felt that they are overburden with work. So south central railway need to
improve work allotment to the employees.

6. Need to improve allowance facility to satisfy the employees in the south central railway.

7. South central railway need to improve grievance management to redressal the problems of the
employees.
