1 Enable Bluetooth interface in the BTS Site Manager laptop, and then choose Add a device.
2 Select the Bluetooth name of the FZM you wish to pair, and then connect.
5 The operating system will proceed through the pairing process, and then the FZM will be shown under the
Bluetooth Devices on the Devices and Printer window of the Control Panel. Once paired, establish
connection by selecting Network Connect to establish full connection.
If you are monitoring the progress on a BTS Site Manager connected via M-plane or LMT, you will see
Bluetooth alerts indicating that Bluetooth is enabled and that a Bluetooth connection has been
established, similar to Figure8: LMT BTSSM displaying successful Bluetooth connection alert.

If another BTSSM is open, for example, via M-plane, the BTSSM connection will fail. Only one BTSSM is
allowed at a time. Likewise, if Bluetooth BTSSM is open, the LMT BTSSM won’t open.
6 Once full connection is established, assign an IP address to the personal area network (PAN) on the laptop,
which is used to connect to the BTS Site Manager.
