A VII. Rationale:
D The conduct of Gender and Development (GAD) is in consonance with
Executive Order No. 273- “Approval and Adoption of Philippine Plan for Gender-
F Responsive Development”, in which all government agencies are mandated to
O institutionalize GAD in their planning, programming and budgeting.
VIII. Project Description:

The GAD training will be conducted for three (3) days. The first two days of
M the training will be conducted as a whole district and in only one venue-
2 Bayambang Event Center, Bayambang, Pangasinan. The third day will be School
Based which will include learning exchange and learning application to be held in
Bolinao, Pangasinan.
IX. General/Specific Objectives:
1. To increase the level of awareness of teaching and non-teaching personnel on
GAD concepts, issues and concerns.
2. To provide knowledge on how to infuse/integrate GAD in the classroom
teaching.
3. To improve the capacity of the teaching and non-teaching personnel on the
application of GAD.
