Job Specification/Role Summary
Function / Team / Location – GSC&S, Supply Chain CoE – Analytics/ India/ Chennai
The Logistics Analyst should be an expert in data visualization with deep knowledge of BI tools with
focus on logistics & supply chain, and experience in working with complex datasets. As part of the
Central Analytics team in Global Supply Chain, you will focus on providing data driven insights that
streamline decision making.
You will be working closely with other analysts and developers, business partners, end-users, and
senior leaders across the globe to jointly identifying improvement opportunities, develop powerful
dashboards and executive summaries and supporting projects that enhance business value creation. As
a Logistics analyst, your responsibilities will include understanding and supporting key Supply Chain
(SC) planning process through SC performance management.
Must have:
At least 8 – 11 years of work experience in the Analytics and Business Intelligence with focus on
Logistics and supply chain
Strong experience in logistics metrics and analysing data related to logistics, distribution and
transportation
Strong experience and in-depth knowledge creating dashboards, preferably in Power BI or
Qlikview environment
Strong understanding of the business context in which data is being reported.
Ability to meet competitive deadlines
Ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders across teams/regions/disciplines and successfully
leverage the inputs that they might have to offer.
Good to have (not must, though):
Professional certifications in any of the widely used BI tools/SAP
Exposure to working with key metrices and KPIs of Supply chain processes like Demand
planning, Supply planning, etc.
Academic/Professional background in Supply chain management
Certifications/Exposure to some of the process improvement methodologies like Lean/Six Sigma,
etc.
Exposure to working in a supply chain process before.
