Tell me about yourself:

I am an enthusiastic, jolly, eager to learn person. My friends also described me as a very driven person. I
am the eldest amongst my siblings. I came from an INC family and my parents has instilled me the values
of integrity and hardwork. During my spare time, I have also volunteer into teaching kids in summer
kindergarter program. My hobbies include reading a lot of books, watching movie series and also doing
pastry works with my friends.

2. Why did you decided to quit your job?

Being in a BPO company as a call center agent taught me a lot of things. It has been a great environment
for learning. By entering this industry, I only have one thing in my mind. And that is to learn , so that I
can grow in this career. I know that there is much more to experience and applying in this company will
boost my potential to be well-knowledgeable in this path.

3. Why do you think HR is important?

Human resource is the heart of every company. It gives importance and care to the workforce that is in
the company. The department is beneficial and important for the company as it is to the employees. HR
makes sure that every employee is compensated and treated right. That they are well trained and
comfortable in their working atmosphere. On the other hand, it also makes sure that the employee is
doing what is expected of them by the company.

4. What has been your biggest challenge in life?

Aside from passing the board exam, being in the BPO industry in the first place is challenging enough.
The diversity of people you work with, the work load and the pressure of getting a good stats to have a
stable job is challenging. That’s why I think, it can also be an edge when applying because it means that I
am a person who can strive and work hard under challenging circumstances.

5. If there is to be changed in the company what is it?

Speaking as one of the employee, one good thing that a good company can provide is a innovative and
well rounded policies, wherein every employee is being valued and cared for. Provide internal training in
creativity and innovation practices. Provides employee teams with the time, tools, training and settings
to address specific business challenges in creative ways.

With more time, HR can focus on big-picture plans for people and processes such as:

 Developing training programs so employees reach – and exceed – their potentials


 Motivating staff to excel
 Developing competitive compensation
 Methods to reward and retain the best employees
 Best practices in measuring performance

6. What do you know about our company?

- Founded on 2007 by CEO MR. Manny Villar. Vista Land and Lifescape is one of the most popular and
largest homebuiler in the country. As of today, it is the market leader of the number of houses built.
Some of the well-known products of the company is the Brittany, Crown Asia, Lessandra, Vista
Residences and of course the Camella Homes.

7. Why do you want to work in our company/ why should I hire you?

- I wanted to work in a reputed company which will provide me bigger opportunities of learning and
enhancing my skills and knowledge. Vista Land and Lifescapes is no wonder one of the promising
companies when it comes to their field of business. It emphasizes and proves the values it
upholds:Honesty, competitiveness, teamwork and care for our customers. I would want to work in a
company where its values reflects mine. I know that when it comes to HR related functions, some
people would say that my experience is limited. But the length of experience does not always equate to
the number of learnings and capacity a person has. I cannot assure that I know everything the job
requires me to do. But one thing I can assure you, I am very eager to learn and well driven. I have prided
myself on providing excellence and quality work just like this company does.

8. How can you use your skill as a psychometrician?

-Psychometrician is someone who is knowledgeable in psychometric practices of psychological


measurement. Being a psychometrician, I am practiced to properly administer and score a test which I
think is one of the skill needed not just in employment but also in training purposes. Also, we are trained
in handling behaviors, how to acknowledge, develop and enhance it.

9. What is your weakness?

-Some people would consider the fact that I have never worked in this field before as a weakness.
However, being fast learner and open minded, I have no pre-conceived notions on how to perform my
job. With this new work, I will have the opportunity to learn the job the way you want it done, not the
way a different organization does it. I am never bored because there is always something new to learn.
In addition, although I have no former on-the-job experience with this work, I do bring my love of
learning new things, which can only enhance my ability to learn this process very quickly. And, I've
always been commended by my managers for my commitment to work hard. I'm always on-time and
not a slacker.

10. What is your biggest achievement?

- My most significant achievement would have to be graduating from college. I say this because for four
years, I have labored so much to get good grades and recognition and it all culminated in my
achievement of a college diploma.

11. Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

- My short term goal is to have a stable job with this company. After working for a couple of years with
this company, I would like to see myself take on more responsibilities like maybe become a supervisor or
a trainer.
