Inception
Prior to June 2013, Vasind and Tarapur plants were part of JSW Steel Ltd & Kalmeshwar
plant was part of JSW Ispat Steel Ltd., Pursuant to scheme of amalgamation/merger
sanction by High Court Mumbai, the entire downstream business of JSW Steel Ltd. (Vasind,
Tarapur & Kalmeshwar plants) was spun off as JSWSCPL with effect from 1st June, 2013.
