Interactive Registration Centers in November 2001 and since then it
has established over 365 customer contact points all over the country
in urban, sub-urban & rural locations. These centers are conveniently
located at the centre of towns and are managed by a team of highly
trained and skilled professionals, who help in guiding applicants
through the process of registration.

Driver’s License is used as a photo ID in most part of the world. It


carries great importance with regards to its authenticity and validity.

To consider this document to be a secure ID, NADRA has developed


an RFID contact-less e-Driver’s License that bears holder's personal
information and stores data regarding traffic violations and tickets
issued/outstanding penalties.

Data is stored in two halves of the chip. One half is burnt electronically,
so it cannot be changed or modified and contains the personal
information of the license holder.

The second half is re-writable, where history of violations can be


recorded. At the end of the day, violation data is transferred from the
policeman’s handheld device (PDA) to local police station which is
then transferred to the central server (at district/state level) through
secure channel that ensures data security and integrity.
