Matching

Reasoning: assessing the important aspects of the unit, fewer

than 10 responses, used perfect matching to avoid confusion.
Demonstration/Performance
Students will demonstrate
counting by counting the
touch points on each
number, counting the
doubles in the correct
order.

Reasoning: linked very closely to teaching activities, requiring

students to demonstrate skill, task is realistic, and it is adapted for
non-verbal students.
Multiple Choice

Reasoning: direct questioning, includes fine motor work,

only one correct answer, and it is engaging/motivating.
Teacher Observation/Checklist
Forms of Voice/Communication

Grading

•  If the objective applies to IEP goals then goal

of 80% accuracy is figured based on progress
Goal
My goal for my students is to have a foundational understanding

that involve the use of numbers.
