A FEW GOOD MEN

“You don’t need to have a patch on your arm to have honor”

These are the words uttered by Kaffee to one of the two military men after
realizing that honor is not about obeying the orders of a superior even though he knows
it is wrong. This must be the mindset of everyone especially nowadays. One’s honor
does not depend on the position or awards he get. Honor can be measured by doing
what is right and just. We must not depend on what society thinks is right or what is
socially acceptable. This holds true also in the personality of Kaffee who is scared to
appear in trial because of fear of not being as good as his father. One cannot be defined
based on his achievement or excellence but by the way he deals with things and how
he treats other people. We must not be blinded by money or fame to be considered as
one with honor.
