Quezon
Avenue in its Physical, Social and Psychological
Aspects
Good day!

I am Arch. Lawrence Intalan, presently enrolled in the Master of Architecture program (Urban Design) at
the University of the Philippines Diliman. Part of our course program is "Data Gathering Methods and
Analysis" that is related to our proposed thesis topic. I have chosen M.L Quezon Avenue in Angono, Rizal
as my research site.

This survey activity is intended to gather data from the people passing by the M.L. Quezon Avenue in
Angono, Rizal (from Rainbow Village to Angono Public Market). The survey aims to identify the
predominant qualities of M.L. Quezon Avenue as a public urban space. It will be rated using linear opinion
scales ranging from 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest.

Streets are public areas crucial for social life of towns and cities. They shape the character of an urban
area and the everyday life of the people, such as choosing transport modes, feeling safe and public
behavior. (Cengiz, 2018)

This survey will only take 3-5 minutes, and your answers will be kept in full confidentiality.
