The Great flood of Isla Berde

It was a dark stormy night when Night woke up from a very bad dream. He dreamt
that a great water will envelop their Land. He told everyone about his dream but only his
family believed him. With the help of his Family, they started to build a bridge going to the
other side of the mountain. A mountain that no one had ever reached before. He was
shocked when the animals started to gather on their place and helped them build the
bridge. Days past, more animals gathered to help them. After the sleepless nights, they have
finally finished building the bridge. Night’s family celebrated together with the animals that
helped them and made an agreement to not only save their live, as well as save those who
believed them and those who have innocent souls. They started to gather all types of
animals by pair as the rain started to shower their land. The family was busy guiding the
animals to cross the bridge going to the mountain. Hours passed as they have noticed,
Snake wasn’t there. Night and Noon took the risk and went down from the bridge searching
for snake. They walked and walked until they found a cave. They made their temporary
shelter as the rain started to conquer their land with no mercy. A hissing sound was heard, it
was snake together with his wife. They hurriedly convinced snake to join them. Snake was
hesitant at first because he cannot guaranteed to control himself being a snake, being a wise
predator. He was scared that he might hurt someone if he goes. Night pitied snake’s
reasoning for not going. So he made a plan, He planned that after they will cross the bridge,
Night will guide them going to the far side of the mountain and they will lived there
peacefully. The snake thank Night and his son for their help and hospitality and so snake
together with his wife, they joined Night and his son to go back to the bridge. After the rain
calmed a little, they quickly and hurriedly ran back to bridge as a more disastrous storm will
come back to their land. They crossed the bridge and a worried Midnight was there, waiting
for their return. A sign of relief was seen to Morning’s face as she saw her husband and her
son and the reason for their risk, snake and his wife. After they had crossed the bridge, it
was the timing, the bridge collapsed into the deep river going to who knows where. They
stayed to the house they built and ate the food they gathered before the storm happened.
Everyone was happy because of what they accomplished, Build the bridge and save their
lives. After the storm passed on their land. It was the time Night will do his plan. They
journeyed to the far side of the mountain and build a small house for snake and his wife.
Snake thank them from the goodness of their heart. They made their farewell and Night
went back to their new home.
