Job Title SAP ABAP Technical Consultant

Main Duties  Collaborate with Technical Architect, functional consultant and

business analysts to develop new solutions which works on SAP
ECC.
 Supporting the Rollout / Migration project with new development,
migration activities, and Technical support.
 Providing the technical assistance to the functional team in the
respective functional areas.
 Integrating the SAP ECC system with SAP / Non SAP systems using
different technologies
 Industry know-how of SAP with manufacturing industries would be
added advantages.

Area of Responsibility/  SAP ABAP Consultant with the good working knowledge with
Skills SD/MM/PP/PS/ FICO/ CS functional modules.

Qualifications

Education Required  Completed university studies – Degree preferably the B.E / B.TECH
 4+ years application development experience

Areas of Expertise  Strong programming background in ABAP/ OO ABAP / Workflow /
Interfaces

 Expertise in SAP RICEF Objects

 Expertise in SAP ABAP - DDIC ,Function Modules, BADI Reporting,

Work Flow , RFC, ABAP Work Bench.

 Strong experience in User Exits/Customer exits, Enhancement

Framework (Enhancement Spot, Enhancement Point and
Enhancement Section), Custom development with OOPS ABAP,
Enhancements, smart forms and sap scripts.

 Performance tuning of the existing development according to the

Coding guidelines.

 Working experience in Interfaces, Integration, ALE, EDI, IDOCS, BDC,

BAPI, RFC, BADI, Application log.

 Strong debugging Skills to identify the bugs and make fixes according
to SAP coding guidelines

 Good to have external interfaces technologies like SOAP, Proxy and

O-Data services.

 Experience / Knowledge with SAP workflow is an added advantage

 Good to have atleast 1+ full lifecycle implementation involves Scoping

and Planning ,Process Design, Development,Testing , Deployment
and Post go-live support.

 Must have strong analytical and problem–solving skills

 Exposure to agile development methodologies like Scrum would be

added advantage

 Strong interest and passion for learning and adopting to the new SAP
technologies.
