It is my absolute pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Miss. Ashlyn Phifer. Ashlyn worked as an
assistant teacher at Variety’s summer Extended School Year (ESY) beginning in the summer of 2018. She took
on this role with great enthusiasm and exhibited herself as a natural born leader. Ashlyn even stepped in as
acting teacher when the teacher moved to another state.

Ashlyn showcased herself as a consummate professional within just one year at Variety. She is extremely
organized and well prepared for everything and anything that comes her way. She is constantly thinking of new
and creative ways to teach her students and better herself as a future teacher. These methods bring out the very
best of her students and colleagues as well. I look forward to working with her again this summer and seeing
what new and creative ideas she brings once again to Variety.
