I. Project/ Activity Title

“Intramurals 2018” with the theme: “Engaging Life Through Socialization and Develop
Camaraderie, Sportsmanship and Unity”

II. Project Proponent

The event or project is headed only by the MAPEH Department.

III. Project Rationale

In line with the mission-vision of the school, this project or event will promote or develop
camaraderie, sportsmanship and unity among the students, faculty members, parents and other
stakeholders.

IV. Project Objectives

-To develop sportsmanship, camaraderie and unity among the students, school officials, parents
and other stakeholders.
-To discover and develop potential talents of the students in the field of sports and performing arts.
-To select and develop potential athletes among the students who will undergo more trainings and
represent our school in all levels of sports events/competitions.
-To promote awareness among our students, faculty members and stakeholders the value of
engaging in physical activities to have a healthy lifestyle.
-To promote our school in the sense that, the other school children will be informed of the
interesting activities and facilities that we have. Hence, they will be persuaded to study or enroll in
our school.

V. Project Description

The project or activity will be accomplished with the help of the school head, faculty members,
stakeholders, and students. The students will be competing on the following events: basketball
boys and girls, volleyball boys and girls, badminton boys and girls, chess, scrabble both boys and
girls, cheer dance competition, Mr. and miss intramurals and vocal singing competition. All Grade
levels from Grade 7 to 11 are required to have entries for all the listed activities. For the singing
competition, entries will either be solo singing, duet or group singing .

competition and Search for Mr. and Miss Intramurals)
VI. Project Duration
The project or activity will be conducted on September 17 -24, 2018. During the opening day and
the Closing or awarding, there will be no regular classes to give time for the cheering competition ,
singing contest and the search for Mr. and Miss Intramurals. For the second day until the fourth
day, all events or games will be done after class hours.

VII. Proposed Budget

The expenses for the activity will be the tarpaulin, bond paper for communication letters, 10 yards
assorted colors gina cloth for the flaglets, colored papers for certificates of student winners,ribbons
for sash, tokens and snacks for the judges and visitors, designs for the stage, certificates, shuttle
cock, snacks for the officiating officials. The budget for the activity is estimated at P3500.00-
P4000.00. The medals, trophies will be solicited from generous individuals.

VIII. Monitoring and Evaluation

The activity /project will be over all managed and evaluated by the MAPEH department.

MECHANICS FOR CHEERDANCING

A. Participants
1.The number of participants per grade level entry should be composed of a minimum of 15 and
maximum of 25 members (all girls/all boys or mixed boys and girls).
2.All participants must be bonafide students of Agripino Manalo National High School and regular
students of the grade level they are performing with.
3. All official participants must submit the duly signed parental consent allowing them to join the
cheerdancing to avoid complaints of parents why their sons/ daughters go home late during practices.
Participants must approach the MAPEH Teachers regarding the copy of parental consent.
3.Duration of the performance must be a minimum of five(5) minutes and maximum of seven(7)
minutes only including the entrance and exit.
4.Aerial, acrobat, lifting and tossing is allowed but until the second level only.
5. Costumes must be descent and not too revealing.

B. Criteria for Judging

TECHNICAL SKILLS (Degree of Difficulty and Dance Techniques) --------------------40 %

MECHANICS FOR THE SINGING CONTEST


A. Participants
1.All participants must bonafide students of Agripino Manalo National High School.
2. Each participant is required to submit the parents permit allowing him/her to join the said
competition.
3. Each grade level can have more than one entry if there are more interested students to showcase
their talents in the field of singing.
4. Duration of each performance must be a minimum of five minutes and a maximum of 7 minutes.
5. Costumes must be descent and not too revealing.

B. Criteria for Judging


1.Quality of voice (Clarity of voice, Diction) --------------------------------40 %
2.Projection, poise and confidence -------------------------------------------30%
3. Stage Presence and Over-all Impression ---------------------------------20%
4. Audience Impact-----------------------------------------------------------------10%

A. PARTICIPANTS
1. Each candidate should be a student of Agripino Manalo National High School.
2. Each candidate is required to submit parental consent duly signed by the parent or guardian
stating that the parents are allowing their son/daughter to join the activity.
3. Each grade level is required to have one or more entries for this activity since the judging is
per individual.
4. Each candidate is required to prepare for the following:
.Sports attire
. Sports Talent
5. Each candidate should prepare an advocacy promoting Healthy Lifestyle.
6. The time duration for the talent portion should be three (3)minutes only.
7. The decision of the judges and result of the competition is final and unappealable.

DEAR MA’AM;

Greetings in the Name of Our Lord Jesus Christ! Good Day.

This is to inform your good office that the MAPEH department is proposing the schedule of the school
intramurals on September 17 – 22, 2018. The events on the said intramurals will be the following: basketball
boys and girls, volleyball boys and girls, chess boys and girls(singles and doubles), scrabble, chess both boys
and girls. We will also be having the Cheer dancing, singing contest and Search for Mr. and Miss intramurals
for the opening day.

For the opening day, may I request your good office if you could allow us not to have regular classes in
order for the scheduled activities like the Cheer dancing, singing competition and search for Mr. and Miss
intramurals be accomplished. For the next days which is the schedule for the ballgames, all events will be done
after class hours. For the last day or the championship day, morning will be the championship and in the
afternoon will be the closing and awarding of winners.

Moreover, may I request if you could allow the sports club to collect registration fee with the amount of
P10.00 per player in order to finance some of the expenses for the said event, provided that proper
documents and financial report will be presented for auditing after the activity.

May I request also if you could allow us solicit from generous and willing to help individuals the trophies
and medals we will be awarding for the winners of every category.

Attached herewith is my proposal, mechanics for the activities, program for the opening and closing,
schedule of events, working committee, officiating officials, list of trophies and medals which will be
requested or solicited and sample of registration form for the players for auditing and records purposes.
