him/her, sign it, and return it to me to keep in his/her portfolio.
Snack Schedule
Once again, I’m pleased with the progress that I’m seeing
thus far. Please encourage your child to keep up the good Monday – Kim
work and to review previously taught skills and strategies
throughout the year especially ones that may have caused Tuesday – Madison

During the week of November 8-10 , I will be out of town.

On November 8 , students will take a third grade
diagnostic and placement test. The results will be used
evaluate the students strengths and weaknesses and allow
me to cater upcoming chapters and assignments to meet Weekly Assignments
the students’ needs. Your child will not need to study for Monday-
this test. It’s strictly for planning purposes. The remainder Math- p. 50
of the days I’m out of town, students will review previously Reading- School Home
taught material. Chapter 3-2 will resume on Monday, Connection; read 30 minutes

multiplication facts every evening. Flash cards and Spelling- worksheet- cursive

Reading- This week’s selection is titled “Wild Shots, Math- p. 52
They’re My Life.” The following skills will be emphasized: Spelling- ABC order
author’s purpose, singular and plural nouns, and using Reading- FCAT L. 12
simple strategies to determine meaning and increase Thursday-
vocabulary. Math- p. 53
