1 Find incremental field ΔH at P2 caused by P1 for,


i) I1ΔLI = 2 π az μ A.M P1(4,-2,3) P2(0,3,0).
ii) I1ΔLI = 2π ( 0.6 az -0.8ay ) μ A.M P1(4,-2,3) P2(1,3,2).

2 Calculate total magnetic flux for a cubical box bounded by x = 0, x= 1 ,y = 0, y= 1 and


z = 0, z= 1 having, B = (x+2) ax+(1-3y) ay+2z az.

3 Let H = 6xy ax – 3y2 ay A/m in the z = 0 plane. Find the total current passing through the
area bounded by 0 ≤ x ≤ 5, 0 ≤ y ≤ 5 in the az direction.

4 In the region 1< r < 0.5 m in cylinder coordinates the current density is J = 4.5 e-2r az (A/M2),
J=0 elsewhere, use Ampere’s law to find H.

where a = 3mm , b= 9mm , c= 12mm and current is 0.8A centered on the Z axis az direction
