communication is a process by which information is exchanged between individuals through
a common system of symbols, signs, or behavior. As a social beings we need to communicate
with others. Communicate is not all about talk with others -write message, write a caption,
listen to song, those thing are a few way how you communicate with others. By communicating

According to Wikipedia Social Medias are interactive computer-mediated technologies that

facilitate the creation and sharing of information, ideas, career interests and other forms of
expression via virtual communities and networks. Communication carried out through social
media takes place in two directions or even more. Therefore, social media users can interact
with other social media users. Social media also impact our society coomunicating from face-
to-face communication to screen-on-screen. Social media and communication is unity, how
come? We used social media to communicated those far aaway, keep in touch, or share our
ideas. There are recently 2.8 billion social media users all over the world. This means that over
a third of the world’s population is using some form of social media. Users consist of different
ethnic, religion, race and customs. We need something tied us together –something makes us
understand each others, a global language. Global language is a language spoken
internationally. It is common-knowledge that english is our global language. Thousand or even
billion articels are written in english. So indirecly, it pushes us to understand english gradually
in order to expand your knowledge or even to improve your english –because currently lot of
research is written in english, their first copy. Based on research, Indonesian spends 3 hours 23
minutes per day on social media or 15.97% out of 100%. social media offers us an enchated
learning oppurtunities and give us an oppurtunities to exchange new ideas .

Due to what’s on social media mostly is english-base-texted and it is the way how human-
being all around the world communicted. Each day we find a new vocabullary, a new slang, a
brand new things, oe even something we already get used to it but we didn’t realize what is the
reason why it has to be that way. Considering how long we spend our time on social media, it
must be we get used to. utilize chat rooms in order to develop writing, reading and critical thinking
skills. So each day would find somethingnew, a new thing about english, and the right way to speak
english that could improve your ability in english. You know about appropriate way and be good
comminicator as well.
