Project Title: Environmental Sustainability

Introduction & Background:

Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change.
Pollution can take the form of chemical substances or energy, such as noise, heat or light. Pollutants,
The components of pollution, can be either foreign substances/energies or naturally occurring
Pollution of environment on the background level has grown in the recent years.
There arose a necessity to establish a specialized observational system for conducting changes in the state
of the environment.

TYPES OF POLLUTION ON WHICH ACTION WILL BE TAKEN:

 Land pollution
 Water pollution
 Noise pollution
 Air pollution

Project Objectives:

Water pollution:
To overcome water pollution we will spread the awareness to stop using plastic bags, as its destroying
aquatic life.
 To distribute paper bags in malls, retails shop, vegetable carts.
 Awareness of using paper bags instead of plastic bags.

Land pollution:
To influences both soil and agriculture which are the two facets of valuable resource necessary for our
sustenance.
 Will go for beach cleaning activity with all class member.
 Will place small dustbins, made from tins collected from beach cleaning and put that in small
schools.
 Will go for junk collection and recycle those junk into productive products.

Air pollution:
To create a healthy and pure environment for upcoming generations, to reduce infection, viral diseases
which is caused by polluted air.
 Plantation of eco-friendly trees
 Awareness about ocean plants such as, mangroves.
Project Description:
 To distribute paper bags in malls, retails shop, vegetable carts.
We will go together to distribute these paper bags in small retail shops near our university and on
vegetable carts.
 Will go for beach cleaning activity with all class member.
We will go for beach cleaning and recycle the junk which would be collected from that cleaning activity
and distribute those recycled things into sweet homes.

IMPORTANCE:
 There are ways to prevent this from happening to our ocean creatures. By keeping this environment
trash free we help protect and preserve marine life. Each individual can better the ocean's ecosystem
by playing their part in keeping the beaches clean.
 Trees contribute to their environment by providing oxygen,
improving air quality, climate amelioration, conserving water, preserving soil, and
 Supporting wildlife. During the process of photosynthesis, trees take in carbon dioxide and produce
the oxygen we breathe.
 Recycling is very important as waste has a huge negative impact on the natural environment.
 Harmful chemicals and greenhouse gasses are released from rubbish in landfill sites. Recycling helps
to reduce the pollution caused by waste.

Project Deliverables:

In order to avoid plastic bags we will target retailer shops and vegetable carts to use paper bags rather
than using plastic bags, and we will give them paper bag as a sample.
Will go for junk collection in different areas and recycle those junk into productive products like LED
and other stuff.
For the cleaning purpose we all group members will target different places to overcome trash on beach
and mangroves area near port grand.
