This roll out comprises of 7 domestic locations and 5 international. All the locations are
connected in a WAN network with a mix of different facilities viz., leased line,
MPLS/VPN, RF, Satellite link.
The environment : The data centre houses 2 Sun Sparc Hi-End Servers with 8 core
CPU running on Solaris 10
– One for production and the other for test and development purpose housing the
Operating system and Oracle Applications 11.5.10.2.
– An external storage facility with 2.4tb of disk space for housing the Database
– A tape drive LT02 for backup and restore purpose.
Achievements : Successfully installed and maintained the servers till date and the end
users were assured close to 98% uptime of servers and resources.
Enabled redundancy in server, storage with raid 0-1 facility to ensure high availability of
data.
The Environment : Sun FIRE V65x server with Oracle E Business Suite ported on Linux
Enterprise Server with 18 locations connected via Leased Lines through MPLS/VPN cloud for
both Voice and Data.
All the 18 locations are remotely located and data transfer is through routers via Virtual Private
Network (MPLS/VPN).
Responsible for the Roll out of ERP – Oracle Applications (Oracle E-Business suite) for 18
locations and 64 inventory organizations covering the following modules : Accounts
Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Procurement, Order
Management and Inventory management
Administering the Data Base and the Application Server. Actively involved in Creating setup for
Oracle E-Business suite with a production and test instance. Carried out the Data Migration and
the Reconciliation.

During this period had designed and consulted Malaysian National Insurance Bhd. Malaysia for
their application on Insurance. The project covered study, analysis and design for Health care,
Life insurance.
Analyzed and Designed Health care management system for PCS Rakyat M. Sdn. Bhd a
vendor of MEDEM (subsidiary of Matsushita Corporation) leaders in electronic devices with their
branded product NATIONAL PANASONIC. This system takes care of on-line process for the
health care for the employees of Matsushita in various clinics located across Kuala Lumpur and
integrated to HRD.
Analyzed and Designed Asset Management System for Sintel (M) Sdn. Bhd and Tanaka
Electronics (M) Sdn. Bhd. which covers valuation, depreciation and WDV and net value for the
assets of the organization.

Responsibilities included testing University Management System, which integrates the finance
with Academics.
Developed functional specifications and econometric models based on the business workflow
under alternative scenarios. Performed system analysis, database integration, analytical
computation analysis and report writing. Projects sponsored and monitored by University
Grants Commission.
The budgets for the university and the disbursements to colleges under the university were
tracked and development of test cases / business scenarios, execution of scripts and validation
through SQL. Test completion and Bug Tracking. System installation and setup coordination

Tracking system for the Regional Transport Office – issue of licenses (Geared and non geared),

File monitoring system for the Government of Goa giving the details of the origin and the
movement of the file and tracking the same at various periods and the status of the files.
Royalty Tracking System for Directorate of Industries and mines comprising of Computation of
the royalty payable by the mine owners to the Government, Dead Rent and Active mines,

snapshot of the billing, purchases, production, finance figures were generated. I was
responsible for the system analysis and design, development and implementation of all the
applications.
The Significant achievement in Best & Crompton was conversion of the applications from IBM
1401 to PDP 11/24 hardware. This was done in a period of 1 year and the organization
witnessed a smooth transition
