Description of Course Types

• 100 percent department prepared curriculum (designated 10, 20, 30)


• Locally modified advanced (10A, 20A, 30A) and locally modified basic (designated 11, 21, 31) which have a minimum 50 percent department
prepared curriculum
• Locally developed courses (designated L) which may 100 percent local (original) content while still at a level consistent with other department
courses for regular education
• Part of a recognized International Baccalaureate program (designated IB)
• Part of a recognized Advanced Placement program (designated AP)
• Alternative Education (designated 18,28,38)

Registration plus a mark is required (excludes waived and standing granted). All schools (provincial, First Nations, independent, post-secondary) are
included. All program types are included (24 credit, adult secondary, French Immersion, Fransaskois, alternative education).
