INTRODUCTORY RITE

Commentator: Good morning, dear brothers and sisters.

Today, we celebrate a new beginning for the graduates, parents,
faculty and staff of Marcelli School of Antipolo. We offer to God the gift of
ourselves and blessings we receive. As we prepare in this Holy Eucharist, we
obtain love and hardships in our everyday lives. Let us then look back and
reminisce the toils and travails of the past. Let us not forget our parents,
mentors, and other people whose passion, dedication, and guidance have
molded us to become a blessing as individuals as well as faithful citizens of
God’s Kingdom.
Our mass presider for this special occasion is Rev. Fr. Rex Ablay.

PROFESSION OF FAITH
ALL: I believe in one God,
the Father almighty,
maker of heaven and earth,
of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ,
the Only Begotten Son of God,
born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light,
true God from true God,
begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father;
through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation
he came down from heaven,and by the Holy Spirit was
incarnate of the Virgin Mary,and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate,
he suffered death and was buried,
and rose again on the third day
in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead
and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life,

Promises
CELEBRANT: God´s beloved sons and daughters, the day of your
graduation has come. Some of you will leave the school and take your place
in society. Others will continue their studies to be better equipped to serve in
the future. This day marks a new start in your lives. Look then, with
gratitude to the past and thank God for all the benefits he lavishly poured on
you in the years of formation. Look also with confidence, to the future. God
is faithful. He who surrounded your childhood and adolescence with loving
care will also carry out what he has chosen that you may bear fruit and that
your fruit may remain. Now take the road and live in accordance with your
sublime calling. Today, with the help of His grace, in the presence of your
parents and friends, you will pledge fidelity to your calling. Therefore, I ask
you:

OFFERTORY
CANDLES: You alone shine in the darkness of our lives. In times of
despair, you give us hope. You gifted us with innumerable things and events
during the years that we went with you. Accept these candles, Lord,
symbolic of your unending guidance and care for us. Like you, may we

dispel darkness and bring light to those living in misery and gloom. May
those whom we meet see the light of Your Son Jesus in us.
BIBLE: Take, O Lord, the symbol of our faith in You. You have given
direction to our life, hope in our aspiration, and the constant assurance of
your love. Allow us to be living witnesses to Your Word.
CRUCIFIX: We recognize how much You love us, O Lord, that You
even offered the life of your Son Jesus, for us. May the crucifix be our
constant reminder of this Sacrifice, that we will ever be willing to carry our
own crosses, knowing that You will always be there.
FLOWERS AND FRUITS: Accept these flowers and fruits, O Lord,
symbolic of the fruits of labor we patiently cared for to beautify life. The time
we planted them was not so long ago and the time is here to harvest these
flowers and fruits. These are symbols of our struggles, fruits of our efforts
and qualities many of us are proud of.
BOOKS: We have dedicated our lives in the search of knowledge
and wisdom. We braved the hardship and difficulties in the years of struggle
and perseverance. Accept O Lord, these symbolic of our dreams and
aspirations.
DIPLOMAS AND MEDALS: Accept Father, these medals and
diplomas symbolic of our triumph and success. These are fulfillment of our
dreams, the prize we ought to share to everybody. You have enriched our
lives and watched us grow. You lit the paths we have trodden. We offer now
to You, Father these diplomas as gesture of our realization to face a new life,
new dreams to fulfill, new ladders to climb, new mountains to surmount and
new roads to cross.
WATER AND WINE: Water to cleanse our evil desires for the
materialistic world around us. We offer You Father, symbolic of the joys and
pains, the sweat shed in order to attain the realization of our dreams.
Accept, O Lord, the symbol of Your Son´s blood as we together share His
pains and suffering all for the love, trust, and unity of your children.
HOST: We offer this Host ourselves, that you may bless us with
Love and Hope. Without You, we are nothing and can do nothing. Just as

this transformed into Your body, transform our lives too so that we may
become the instruments of Your love and glory.

Lord, we gather today, in Your house we kneel down and pray.
We ask for your mercy as we open our hearts
to receive your forgiveness O Lord.
Lord, we lift unto you, all these gifts we offer for your glory.

and feel your presence O Lord.
As we offer this bread and as we bring you this wine,
bless them Lord Jesus feed us now, give us life.
